The American West
- Rocky Mountaineer’s newest route, Rockies to the Red Rocks, is a two-day train journey between Moab, Utah and Denver, Colorado, with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs.
- The train travels only during the day and features oversized windows, so you do not miss a moment of the ever-changing landscapes
- This is the only passenger train to take guests directly to Moab, with guests arriving a short drive by motor coach from downtown Moab.

Rockies to Red Rocks – US Rail Route
RM’s newest route showcases scenic views of desert cliffs and impressive rocks formations that are unique to the Southwest United states.
Destinations: Denver, Glenwood Springs, Moab
Rail Days: 2 days onboard / 1 night hotel accommodation in Glenwood Springs. Extensions available to other US Parks. Route runs east to west or west to east.
Activity Level: Explorers who want to discover the panoramic beauty of America’s Southwest.
Highlights: Moffat Tunnel, Glenwood Canyon, Parachute Creek, Mount Logan, Mount Garfield, Ruby Canyon
