Outside of the city hub, tropical, ultra luxury resorts line the coast of Punta Mita & Riviera Nayarit. Trendy surfer towns like Sayulita are also a great option for those looking for a more bare bones escape.

Puerto Vallarta

Punta Mita & Riviera Nayarit
The Riviera Nayarit is a nearly 200-mile stretch of coastline in Mexico between the historic port of San Blas, of Nayarit to where the Río Ameca empties into Banderas Bay, Nuevo Vallarta.
Punta Mita is a 1,500-acre private peninsula located on the north end of Banderas Bay in the Mexican state of Nayarit, about 10 miles north of Puerto Vallarta. Both are located roughly 60 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International.
