Although often popular with young adults, Mazatlán also tends to be less crowded than other well-known Mexican beach resorts, and is a favorite for seasoned travelers looking for rest and recreation in the sun. Nightlife is abundant and lively, and there is a large variety of restaurants. Beaches are long and the waves can be big enough for surfboarding and body surfing.
